The medal winners of the World Carrom Championship were honored at a ceremony hosted by Velammal Nexus School.
Velammal Nexus School in Chennai recently had a felicitation ceremony to honor the accomplishments of M. Kasima, V. Mitra, and K. Nagajothi, who took home medals from the World Carrom Championship in the United States.
Thalalar M.V.M. Velmohan of the Velammal Educational Group was a special invitee to this occasion and gave the winners shawls as a token of appreciation. Additionally, he gave them each a monetary prize of Rs. 50 lakhs.
Then, during the ceremony, M.V.M. Velmohan said the following:
Thanks to their perseverance and hard effort, athletes M. Kasima, V. Mitra, and K. Nagajyothi have accomplished great things in the sports world. Their accomplishments are impressive inspiration to the younger athletes in India," he stated.
